Fall'N'Stars 2024 Astrophoto Contest

Astrophoto Contest Rules

  • All entries must be submitted to Hank Bartlett by 15:00 Saturday Sept. 12, 2015. Do not just leave your entry lying around the posted area or stick it up yourself. I will be there, ask and someone will find me if I am not known to you.
  • Printed digital or film images (colour or B&W) up to a maximum of 21.6cm x 28cm (8.5"x11" printer paper size).
  • Any astronomical theme is welcome but image must be taken by person making the submission and who must be a non-professional photographer.
  • Images will be displayed in clear page protectors but we CANNOT guarantee the safety of the image. If it is your only copy and you cherish it think twice about submitting.
  • Mark your image on the back or in some way that makes it easily returnable to you immediately after the judging.
  • Unclaimed images will be donated to the auction.
  • Ballot counting and presentation will take place after 15:00 at a time that will be posted with the images.

We Highly Recommend...

Entries should be submitted as soon as possible upon your arrival at Fall'N'Stars 2024. When you arrive or register at the gate seek out the Image Contest Coordinator ASAP and submit your image(s). This will allow maximum exposure to the voting registrants, all of whom will receive ONE ballot in their registration kit.

Images will be displayed for public viewing in the longhouse and voting, therefore Fall'N'Stars 2024 cannot be responsible for any damage and/or loss (you are submitting your images at your own risk). Images will be available after the prize awarding for return to the owner, if you do not pick up your image it may be sold at auction to the highest bidder!

And the Prize...

The prize to be awarded will be announced at a later time, we are all just after recognition anyway! You do not have to be present at the time the winner is announced to collect the prize.
